I founded BTC after being approached by several small businesses and non-profits in the San Diego region that felt overwhelmed by the excessive marketing resources out there and their lack of time. They were busy being the CEOs of their own business, trying to get things off the ground, and marketing felt like a foreign language, and big PR and marketing firms felt scary and definitely “out of budget”. I’m the communications “girl next door,” who can roll my sleeves up and get right into the work, with simple “do with you” systems, templates, and resources that let organizations get back to the good stuff - the life-changing mission needle mover things behind why they founded their organization to begin with. I partner with cause-based small businesses and non-profits in their infancy stage and help them plant their “branding seeds” in the right soil. With over 7 years of experience in communications, 6+ years in the non-profit sector, and a Master's in public relations, I bring a deep passion for compelling narratives fueled by heart, justice, community, and joy.
